OK. So we arrived in Los Angeles a few days ago on 15th May after an uneventful flight, 3 films and 2 breakfasts under our belt. Quickly through Customs etc. and onto the shuttle bus to our hotel. All very efficient and friendly service - all good so far. The best bit was that we left Australia at 11.00am and arrived in LA at 7.00am on the same day!! So we had a full day to do whatever we wanted - it didn't happen. Although we had the whole day ahead of us we had been awake for nearly 22 hours - as soon as we hit the pillow, that was us gone for the rest of the day.
Since then we've had an absolute ball, but I'll let Linda tell you about that........read on.

ReplyDeleteHave been thinking of you both since you left. You sound like you are having an absolute ball so far. I have this weird vision of you two sorting out your clothing on the train platform!! Ha ha. Help those homeless people. Just toss your clothes as they get dirty. Saves on laundry and it will make your suitcases much lighter! Looking forward to your next instalment.
